Hotel Grindelwalderhof

Positive, I stayed for 2 nights in a Double Room. The view of the Eiger was amazing from our balcony. The room was cozy and warm, and the super nice team. Breakfast had a nice variety, including a lot of bread and cheese. Perfect location with a bus stop right outside!

Had decent sized room with a fireplace, mountain view, and protected with smoke detectors.

fantastic hotel with free wi-fi and especially helpful and very friendly staff. huge, generous sized room with a private bathroom and a shower, a hair dryer and fresh towels. nice and fresh food. best possible and strategic location - extremely close to first cable car. a 10-minute stroll from the train station. easy check-in and late check-out, parking next to the venue. everything amazing. magnificent experience there.

Convenient location, superb views

We were upgraded to a wonderful apartment overlooking the mountains. The hotel is so central, walking distance from everything including the trainstation. The people working there were helpful and friendly.Thank you Grindelwalderhof for memories that were made. Our stay in your hotel was the highlight of our Europe trip.

Why didn't I try this sooner?

I was really surprised by the cozy atmosphere and fine views from my balcony. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the train station and hiking trails. Staff were friendly and breakfast was satisfying, though a bit basic. Definitely a great choice for a quick getaway!

Hotel Grindelwalderhof features a charming Alpine ambiance with cozy, well-appointed rooms. The staff were friendly, and the buffet breakfast was good, offering a nice variety including lovely fresh options. The location is perfect, close to everything!

Spectacular views of the mountains. Close to train station. Bus right in front of hotel. Close to Restaurants and Coffee shops.

Breakfast was poor on the second morning - no bacon or eggs just after 08h00. Staff was not as friendly as the first day. There was no American international plug to recharge batteries of our camera. In Zurich there was a multi national plug in the room, which was very convenient, as the traveler don't need to bring along all kinds of adaptors.

The location was convenient, just a short walk to the train station. The fine view from the balcony offered a perfect backdrop for our evenings. The room was cozy.

The breakfast selection could be more varied to match the overall quality of the stay.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very accomodating to our schedule (allowing us to come down to breakfast early). We would definitley recommend this hotel to others.

The beds were comfortable and the room cosy with good shower. One of the better ski hotels we've ever stayed in
